It didn't come with an instruction manual, and it was still half open! 😕

The connection works well, but the sound is too low, possibly due to a defect. Even when a 3-year-old child makes a sound, it's quiet on the speaker. I checked to see if the speaker volume was low, but it was set to normal. When I connected it to another device and played music, I was surprised by how loud it was. Is it possible that I need to hold the microphone to my mouth and speak into it to hear the sound through the speaker?

Used with mini Bluetooth speaker... sound quality is quite effective.
Good value for money.
